In traditional Hawaiian culture, it is believed that Ti Plants ward off evil and bring good luck. Ti Leaves are considered to be sacred to Lono, the Hawaiian God of fertility and Laka, the Goddess of Hula. In this limited edition linocut print, I pay homage to this beautiful plant that is quite often seen around the properties of homes, businesses and abundant in nature here in the islands.
