'Waimea' was created using the woodcut method of relief printmaking. It is a limited edition of 20 originals printed on BFK Rives Paper.
Home to the prestigious Eddie Aikau surfing competition, Waimea Bay is noted as one of the major influential waves for big wave surfing dating back to the1950s. Massive storms in the Pacific Ocean produce swell that rolls into the bay unobstructed, exploding onto the reef for only the bravest of the sport.
