The North Shore of Oahu is commonly referred to as the 'Seven Mile Miracle.' In this original linocut print, a silhouette of a surfer is seen poised in the barrel of a wave - it is a common scene on the North Shore and a coveted position of most everyone who enters the lineup. There is no other feeling like it in the world; to harness the energy of Mother Ocean and exist for a moment in time in complete harmony with nature. Getting barreled can be a cleansing experience, one that rejuvenates the mind and soul. It's something surfers spent countless hours, days and years in search of. I hope to convey some of that in this small edition, original work of art.
