Title: 'Waipio' 2019

In the Hawaiian language, Waipi’o means ‘curved water.’ Waipi’o Valley located on the Big Island of Hawaii projects a strong spiritual/supernatural vibration - or ‘mana.’  It was also a capital and permanent residence of many early Hawaiian Ali’i.  In this original linocut print, Kean depicts a wave breaking in this sacred valley.
